An Italian famiy adopted them.There parents bought them new clothes. They also fed them. There parents had a real daughter named Albertina. Albertina was 6 years old the same age as Edward,Pauline was 7 years old they spent 2 years in Italy. Italy was very nice. The resturants had very good food,and many childrn were freindly. Right now they are discussing their journey to America. Edward:Mom,dad are you okay? Mom:Yes we are its just that we have to work a lot I am just hoping that your dad got enough money to go on the ship. Dad:I got the money. Get packed up so we can go on the ship. Narrator:Right Know Pauline,Edward,and Albertina and there parents are packing up and they got on the ship to America. Edward:HEY WERE ON THE SHIP!!!! Pauline & Albertina:We can't believe. Narrator:Days passed when one day Pauline & Albertina got very sick. Edward:Don't worry sisters you will be okay. Pauline& Albertina:cough,cough,cough,help me,cough,cough. Edward:I will get mom to see if we got somthing to help you both. Mom:All my goodness! Dad:I think I packed some water in the suitcase. I'll go get. Here you go. Pauline:That was really . Albertina:THIS IS TASTY! Albertina & Pauline:But we still don't feel well. Mom:Just hold it until we get to America. Pauline:I'll try I Know I will Get better,Because America has great stuff. Narrator:And so most of the immigrants past Ellis Island and were able to get to America.Edward got a job at a factory,Albertina got job as a laundry person,and Pauline got a job as an apprentice.
