Our projects name is Immigration.Both of us found out that the immigrants had hard jobs in Europe, so they were thinking about going to New York so they can have better lives. The people paid and got on the ships to sail to America. Some of them didn't pay enough so they had to go to the bottom of the ship. While they were on board alot of people died. When they got to America they had to go to America they had to go to Ellis Island. There they were checked to see if they were sick, or had working skills. If the didn't pass they went back to their country or went to a different part of America.
